Melissa + Mike April 2013 Wedding

What a beautiful day this was. I was very excited to photograph the wedding of Melissa and Mike on a brisk, April day in Michigan. Although they now live in Ohio, Melissa is from this area and I had gotten to meet her before they met, so it was so fun to meet him and witness the fresh, tender affection they share with each other, and the wonderful connection Mike has with her daughter….who is one of the most adorable, funny and spirited 3-year-olds I’ve had the pleasure of knowing.
It was, well, cold. But we pushed through and enjoyed a beautiful church wedding and pictures with the wedding party in downtown Detroit. And, of course, a great time on the dance floor at the Dearborn Inn.
