Oh.My.
When I first pulled up at this quaint privately-owned farm in Manchester, Michigan, to meet the bride and groom and discuss their wedding, I was instantly smitten. With the farm, the land, the light, the COUPLE. They were excitedly telling me about all their plans for the big day, and how it was going to look, and by the end of that consultation I was like a kid before Christmas – I could hardly stand waiting for the wedding!
And then. Oh. I was not disappointed. I was literally grinning and pumping my fists in the air in my excitement when I discovered that everything was not only as I imagined, but about 100 times BETTER. Every little detail was so thoughtfully decided, the decor was beautiful, the apples on the trees had turned red, the bride was stunning, and the day was overflowing in sunshine. Those in attendance were full of energy, joy, and fun. The emotion throughout the day was palpable. The groom is an amazing chef, and the food he planned and helped prepare was AMAZING. And the band was so incredible.
So, it was all I could do not to post EVERY SINGLE PICTURE I took that evening in August. And, while it might look like it from the length of this post, I did at least refrain from doing that.
Thank you, Elliott and Jennevah, for inviting me along on your magical ride.
